I built Steve Hunt Sailing for one reason: the best instruction in the world shouldn’t be hard to find.
After three decades of racing and coaching at the highest levels — three World Championships, 14 national titles as a coach, a seven-year US Sailing Team campaign — I’ve seen what separates the sailors who improve from the ones who don’t. It’s not talent. It’s access to the right coaching at the right time.

Most sailors never get it. I wanted to change that.

So I built this platform and started calling in favors. Dave Ullman, Jonathan McKee, and other champions I’ve competed with and against for years — sailors who have won World Championships, Olympic medals, and professional titles — are now teaching here. I’m the curator. I decide who gets invited in and I stand behind every lesson on this site.
The result is something that didn’t exist before: world-class sailing instruction, all in one place, available to any sailor serious enough to want it.
